Anything For That Shot
The team in charge of gathering VR photos for Google Street doesn't know everyone's schedules, so sometimes they can encounter people trying to work. As you can see above, a photographer one day decided to have a pictorial in public. He wanted the perfect shot of a model in the middle of the city.
They might've thought that they were alone in the area, but anyone using the street view feature had front seats to their photoshoot. It's easy to see more instances like this today because Google allows people to submit videos if their smartphones support augmented reality.
A Real-Life Dwarf?
Dwarfs are only part of folklore, but could the photo above prove that they are real? Sorry to break it to our readers, but this girl is an average-sized human being. She might look odd in the picture because of a glitch in Google Street View that has seemingly cropped her torso.
We're guessing she was only trying to enjoy the view that day, but little did she know that she would become the new landmark of the area. The cameras Google uses are reportedly non-mechanical, and they feature an electronic rolling shutter and CMOS sensors. Sadly, even high-tech devices can have their pitfalls at times.
No One's Around Anyways - Or So He Thought!
Staying hydrated is the key to good health, but it also means that you might visit the toilet more often. Many mastered the art of holding it in when they're on the go or busy, but others can't help it. This man from Mexico above had to let it go, and he decided the wall next to him was okay.
Unfortunately, Google Street has eyes everywhere, and his illegal act got caught on cam. Yes, you heard that right; urinating in public could lead you to an arrest or hefty fine in Mexico. You won't also get away with it in the United States since it's illegal in all states.
Ready For The Beach
This woman might not be a truck driver, but it looks like she got to hop onto one this day. Her choice of outfit might seem questionable for a road trip but we're guessing that it must have been a hot day. You can also see that she's rocking high heels---and we're in awe at how she managed to climb up into the truck in those!
Her footwear might make her look cute, but it isn't good to wear on a regular basis. Sources say that that stilettos can be harmful to your spine, hips, and knees. She's turning around probably in hopes that no one saw her but Google Street View is everywhere.
What Is Going On
Some photos have straightforward explanations, but the one above will leave you confused. The man appears to be wearing nothing, but the weird thing is how he's inside the trunk of his car. He could've been practicing for when he gets kidnapped in the future, or he was simply curious if he could fit.
Stepping in it with the trunk open might sound fun, but it's a different story when you're stuck inside with it locked. A person trapped in a trunk can die of suffocation because that part of the vehicle reaches more than 120 degrees when it's sunny.
The Fabulous Chupacabra
This woman was having a peaceful day in El Castillo, Mexico, but she didn't realize that a Google van passed her and took photos of the surroundings. A glitch affected the picture, and it made her look like a Chupacabra. Chupacabras are creatures of folklore that are allegedly like vampires.
She might've resembled a monstrous being in the picture, but she sure looked like a more fabulous version of it, thanks to her dress. No one can confirm if Chupacabras are real, and you can treat it as the bigfoot of South America.
What Came First? The Woman Or The Towel?
This woman might live in a home in a secluded area, so she doesn't have to worry about many people around. Unfortunately, there was a Google Street cam by her house, and it caught her at an unexpected moment. She was walking outside fresh from the shower, and she looks like she didn't care if people got a glimpse of anything.
If she can step out in public like this, she most probably lives in a tropical country. People who reside in hot areas bathe at least once a day, even if dermatologists suggest that you should only shower two to three times weekly.
Lost And Found: Victoria's Secret Model
The cool thing about Google Street View is that it's good at blurring areas of the images. It can track faces with its algorithm, and it seems like it can blur not-so-proper areas. This woman looks like she encountered problems with her car on the road, but we can't seem to understand why she is underdressed.
There was probably no one in the area where her ride was parked, so she thought she could get away with what she wore. Google Street View can't shut off for her, but their blurring technology helped her not share too much with the world.
When You Meet A Hipster Alien
At first glance, you might think that Google snapped this picture on another planet. The photo is from Earth, and it looks like someone was trying to prank the people over at Google Street. The lifelike alien doll is sitting on a chair wearing a hipster outfit.
It might spark some conspiracy theories because of how real it looks, but no one has valid proof of a real alien yet. In recent years, authorities have reported several UFO sightings, and some even leaked videos and photos of the phenomenon. To top it all off, Pentagon confirmed that all the evidence found was authentic.
Category Is: Monsters Inc. Chic
This young boy was enjoying spending time outside, but his jaw dropped when he saw a man dressed head to toe in blue. The boy must've assumed it was Sulley from Monsters. Inc at first, but he was proven otherwise when he saw the man from the front.
We're not sure if this got photographed from Halloween, but the guy deserves recognition for his confidence. It's understandable why the kid would think of Monsters, Inc. since it was among the most iconic films of Disney. In 2021, the new Monsters at Work TV series premiered on Disney+.
Not Your Average Highway Patroller
Sources say that the image you see above is a Google Street View shot from Spain. It was a highway somewhere in Barcelona, and you might notice that there's a lady who set up a chair and umbrella in the area. Barcelona's hottest months are July and August, so the photo might've been from that time.
It's unclear what she was doing there in the scorching heat. She could've been selling lemonade, or she joined the highway patrol. Let's hope she brought a ton of water with her since the last thing she would want is to get dehydrated and pass out in the middle of nowhere.
Back To The... Past?
You probably have many questions about this picture above. A man in a cycling suit riding a penny-farthing bike, with a pet dressed in a pink sweater tagging along behind him, is not something you'd normally see on the streets. Such bikes were pretty famous during the 1870s through 1880s.
The massive front wheel allows the bike to speed up quickly, and gives superb shock absorption. Reports say this got captured by Google Street View in Perth, Australia. Unfortunately, you won't get to see this triple-wheeling action if you check the location on Google today.
Saving Up On Gas
This woman might've wanted to save money on gas, so she decided to ride her pony to work that day. It looks like she's unbothered, but the photo suggests that the pony is struggling. Some say Shetland ponies should only carry 20% of their total weight, but others say they can take as much as twice their weight.
Whatever it is, it looks like the pony here couldn't carry the woman properly. She might want to give her pony a break or only let her kids hop on it next time. The animal rights people might not be happy when they see this image spread online.
Strutting Down With Out Halloween Spirit
Google Street View isn't only for the roads, for it can also capture images at parks. These two women were confidently going on a stroll in their red latest bodysuits, and it looks like they turned many heads that day. It could've been Halloween that day, and they were planning to collect some candy.
We won't know their identities because of Google Street's blurring feature, but we doubt they would want people to know who they were. You can consider their costumes unique because, in the United States, the most common costume choices are those of a witch, vampire, and superhero.
A Mid-Day Massacre
You will immediately get alarmed when you see something like this pop up in Google Street View. It might look like a massacre, but the image shows someone's sculptures thrown in the trash. Whoever the artist was might've hated the outcome, and they didn't want to continue working on the art pieces anymore.
Sculptors in the United States reportedly have an hourly salary of $19.69. The sculptor here might've thought that these weren't worth his time anymore. Let's hope somebody who owns a boutique saw it and recycled it since they could serve as mannequins.
Gumby Means No Harm!
Can you imagine dressing up in a costume in public only to get attacked by random people? This is what happened to an innocent person when they wore the costume one day. Google Street View captured the moment when two kids decided to attack, and one boy even used his slippers as a weapon.
The kids might've gotten scared when they saw the person since they thought they were getting attacked. Gumby was a character who starred in a clay animation series called The Gumby Show. It aired during the '50s through '80s, so don't expect any millennials or Gen Z-ers to know anything about him.
Work It, Mr. Fabulous!
If you want to catch people's attention in public, you should dress like the man above. He wore what looks like Gymnastic leotards on top of some jazz pants. We aren't sure if he's on his way to his dance lessons or just wants to showcase his unique style.
His outfit made him feel confident, and he even thought of striking a pose. The Google Street Van possibly passed by him, so he thought of giving them a show. Such a leotard might look affordable, but when you're competing in the Olympics, such garments cost around $700 to $1200.
This Man Is Garbage... Literally!
Many women get their hearts broken and call men "garbage," and it looks like this photo shows what they mean. This guy decided to enter a random trash can one day, and it seems like he successfully made himself fit.
It's hard to tell what his motive was behind this photo, but it undoubtedly made a funny sight to see on Google Street View. Outdoor trash bins are usually graffiti proof and fireproof, so was this man trying to check if it was "man-proof"? Let's hope he took a long shower once he got home.
No Ice, No Problem
During the winter, many families love going on vacations. A go-to activity they do is skiing, and it indeed makes you feel one with the ice. This guy in the picture above must've loved skiing, but he couldn't find a place near him that had a ton of snow.
He decided to be creative about it and tried skiing on the grass. Such activity is common, and others even ski on sand or dry ski slopes. The man looked like he wasn't new to skiing, so he most likely survived that day without getting into a severe accident.
Bumped Into Cinderella On The Highway
The idea of riding a carriage with horses became famous thanks to the iconic Cinderella Disney film. Many assume that it only happens in fairy tales, but the image proves that people do it in real life. The Google Street Van captured one on the highway one day, and we're sure many drivers got confused that day.
We're sure most vehicles like driving fast, but it looks like they had no choice to go slowly that day to avoid crashing into the carriage. You won't see any real-life Cinderella anytime soon, but you can watch Camilla Cabello star in a new Cinderella film in September 2021.
Rise Of The Scarecrows
Even if there are cheap flights right now, you might find it risky to travel to another side of the world at the moment. Thankfully, you can use Google Street View to visit places you've never been to. The photo above is a snapshot of Finland, but you will not believe what's in the picture.
Those "people" you see aren't people, for they're scarecrows. It's an art installation by Reijo Kela, and we're sure it scared many people who drove past it. No one knows what it means since the artist refuses to explain.
Scuba Is Life
If you search for the best places to go scuba diving, some of the suggested places would be The Yongala, Australia, Barracuda Point, Malaysia, and Blue Corner Wall, Micronesia. No one will offer the nearest road possible, but it looks like these guys above got the wrong memo.
These Norwegian gentlemen might be crazy to wear scuba gear under the sun, but they might've been doing it to troll people driving that day. The car of Google Street View caught them during their act, and we guess no one will ever have a clue why they did such a thing that day.
The Mailbox Guard
When you visit busy cities like New York, you will always encounter different kinds of people. One example is the guy in the image above. He decided that he wanted to guard the mailbox that day. It's unclear if he worked as a mail carrier, but it looks like he was comfortable with his position.
A person can't tamper with a mailbox in the United States since federal law protects it. Since these are federal property, any damage a person does to it will leave you with a $250K fine.
The Seagull Is A New Yorker
Just because seagulls have "sea" in their name, it doesn't mean that they're always near the ocean. This seagull above that got photographed by Google Street View was cruising around the streets of New York. These birds go into busy areas with one objective: to look for food.
With the amount of open dumpsters and outdoor dining areas, it'd be easy for them to pick up meals in seconds. During March and April, seagulls start to court each other and breed. They then start building nests by May, and those birds in Urban areas make sure their nests last for years.
Channeling His Inner Hawkeye
With the Marvel Cinematic Universe becoming a worldwide phenomenon, we're sure many people dream of becoming like their favorite superheroes. This guy above might've wanted to mimic Hawkeye's archery skills, and he got his friend to help him practice.
The exercise they're doing is pretty dangerous, but he must've been confident with how superb his aim became. Some might assume that archery can be a deadly sport, but sources say people get more injuries when playing golf, basketball, soccer, and baseball. Those who get proper archery training learn how to prioritize safety.
A Reincarnation of Picasso?
Since parks rarely have entrance fees, you can expect to see many people lounging around or doing different activities. This man chose to do art in the park one day, and Google Street View got a glimpse of his fantastic artwork.
Because of our modern technology, you can assume that his painting could've been an edit. Well, Google Street View isn't that advanced, and it's safe to say that this guy is genuinely talented. In New York, you can visit different creative installations at the Socrates Sculpture Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Brooklyn Prospect Park.
Three Is Better Than One
If you study Photoshop, you can quickly learn how to clone yourself in photos. This Google Street View has no edits whatsoever, but it managed to capture a man with his two clones. It's most likely a glitch since you could see the lines on the road get distorted.
It seems like he has no clue that the Google camera is taking pictures of him, and he surely would never expect that people would see him during a random part of his day. Google reportedly started improving their mapping vehicles in 2017, so street view snapshots of different places have been getting better quality.
A Dog In Bagel Heaven
You won't only see people on Google Street View, for you can also catch different animals doing the most random things. This dog, for example, looked like he was sniffing through the sidewalk one day and encountered a pile of bagels.
Like any average dog, it started feasting, but it looks like he only plans to eat it little by little. Dogs don't need to consume many meals daily, and sources suggest that they eat around two to three meals. There should be a twelve-hour interval between meals since going longer than that could lead to nausea caused by hyperacidity.
An Alligator Playing Hide & Seek
Because of all the films showcasing people getting attacked by alligators, it's understandable if many people are afraid of them in real life. This Google Street View shot you see above is from the Florida Everglades. You could see an alligator hiding behind the bushes.
Anyone who walked in that area that day would be in great danger, so it's best to be cautious when you're in places like these. Aside from alligators, you can spot snakes, panthers, turtles, skunks, and eagles at the everglades. The ecosystem of the everglades is among the most diverse across the globe.
About To Make Some Sashimi
Google Street View can take you to a variety of places, even those on water. This image above shows you a bear having the time of its life devouring unlimited fish. You could see that he doesn't need to cook it or anything, and it's as if he's having sashimi from a Japanese restaurant.
Fishes aren't the only smaller animals in a bear's diet, for they also eat insects and larvae. They are omnivorous animals, so they could also consume succulent plants, berries, and roots. We're sure this bear had no idea that he was getting photographed by Google while he was enjoying his daily catch.
Oh No, Rudolph Got Left Behind
Norway is one of the places you can find a ton of deers. Their population there is vast, and Google Street View gives you a glimpse of how they can run on random roads in the area. This deer above looks lost, and one might even say it's one of Santa's reindeers that got left behind.
It looks like the Google car was behind it, and it might've been running away from it. One of the quickest ways you can tell that it's a deer is by looking at their antlers, and a fun fact about it is that both male and female deers can shed new ones yearly.
A Man's Other Bestfriend
We all know that people call dogs a man's best friend, but it looks like this guy preferred a different kind of animal. Google Street View photographed him with his bird on the street, and it seems like they both enjoyed the fresh air they got.
He must've trained his bird well because it isn't flying away from him even if it knows it can now fly free. Birds are intelligent animals, and they're excellent at remembering things. They're great problem solvers, and they know how to plan for the future.
Bear On Watch
This man above is probably aware that people can see his property when they hop on Google Street View, so he wants to prank people who try to invade his privacy from their computers or phones. He decided to sit by his porch wearing an adorable bear costume.
Sources say this cabin is at Fish Lakes Creek, and he must be enjoying all the alone time he gets in the area. The temperature in the place can get pretty cold, so the bear onesie he's wearing makes him feel cozy.
To The Streets, We Go!
Many people love acting even if they aren't big Hollywood stars, and a vignette performance is one of the easy ways they can showcase their talents. Vignettes are like short players or scenes that get acted out, and two men named Ben Kingsley, and Robin Hewlett collaborated with Google for one.
Street With A View was the name of the project, and it happened in 2009. A group of performs went through the streets of Smpsonia Way, Pittsburg, and gave homeowners and Google Street viewers a free show. You can see all of them in full costume, and it looks like they practiced long hours for the act.
Call Me The Confetti Man
The still you see is a different perspective from the Street With A View exhibition in Pittsburgh. In this image, you can see the perspective of the performers who paraded in the streets. There's a man who watched everything from his balcony, and he noticeably dropped something to them.
It might've been confetti that was a sign of appreciation. People usually throw confetti up in the air during a wedding. It originated in Italy, and people used rice at first. Sources say it was a good omen for a couple's fertility journey, but they switched the rice for confetti, so it doesn't hurt anyone who gets hit with it.
Taking Over The World From Our Garage
Those who love practicing science experiments at home do it inside usually, but these men wanted to use their garage. They thought they were getting enough privacy even with the door open, but they might've not known that there was a Google Street Camera nearby.
You could see that they had a gadget that looks like something you'd see a villain use in a superhero film. If they were working on a laser gun that day, they should be extra careful since lasers can burn the skin. Getting hit in the eye with it would even cause irreversible damage.
The Skaters Who Cried Wolf
Seeing this moment on Google Street View would immediately alarm anyone because it looks like a young boy got into a skating accident. Judging by the position of the skateboard, it seems like these boys staged it and were attempting to prank the Google Street viewers.
It might be funny to them now, but when the time comes they get into a severe crash, people might not believe them anymore. The US National Safety Council says there are at least 124K skateboarding-caused injuries per year, so you might want to think twice before faking an incident.
The Locals Are Watching
You might immediately assume that these are ordinary people comfortably sitting by a bus stop in Nagoro, Japan, but they're really dolls. A local Japanese artist decided to set up these installations to represent relatives and neighbors from the town that passed away or left.
Looking at them through Google Street view could be pretty creepy, and you might think that they're decorations for the town's Halloween celebration. You can imagine how scary they look during the nighttime. Hopefully, no one tries to take them home or vandalize them for fun.
Beware: We Have An AT-AT Walker!
This property you see above might be a dream come true for Star Wars fans because it comes with an AT-AT Walker. The estate's owner thought they were getting a ton of privacy in their countryside residence, but it looks like they couldn't hide from Google Street View.
The walker isn't fully functional, and it must be a simple art installation for them. We wonder how much effort it took them to put it up and if it can withstand strong winds. The First Order, Old Republic, and Galactic Empire often use the All-Terrain Walkers in the Star Wars universe.
Horsin' Around!
Not many people mind that Google Street View snaps photos outside their homes, and it looks like this man above even wanted to entertain anyone taking a look at his street. You could see that aside from casual clothes, he wore a horse mask and set up chairs and a table.
No one can tell his point in doing it, but he might've been a huge horse fan. Horses are magnificent creatures, and they've been around for millions of years. Some fun facts about them are that they sleep standing up, they have fast reflexes, and their ears have 10 different muscles.
The Street Fighters
Street Fighter was a famous video game by Capcom, and it garnered many fans from around the world. These women might've been fans of the game when they were younger because they decided to do some good old street fighting in real life.
The woman in black had the more uncomfortable pair of shoes, but it looks like it didn't stop her from winning the fight. The girl in green seems to be struggling, and we hope someone from their house stepped out and broke up the fights. Come on, girls, it's 2021; make peace, not war!
Flash Warning
The city of Port Pirie in South Australia has many interesting people, and it looks like some of them don't want the Google car showing millions of people the front of their homes. This woman, in particular, got pretty annoyed one day and did a not-so-family-friendly thing in front of the camera.
Reports say that this lady got slapped with a minor criminal offense, and she hated it. When they asked her to explain her actions, she claimed that what she did was simply something she wanted to check off her bucket list.
A Maze For Corny People
Have you ever heard the term "corny?" People would call you that if you say or do something that common or obvious. The word doesn't have anything to do with corn, but maybe you can call yourself corny if you survive this maze above. It's the unique corn maze in Alberta, Canada.
The maze is enormous, but you can have an endless feast of corn if ever you get lost and tired. This place is perfect for anyone who wants a break from a busy, congested city since going here will give you all the fresh air you need.
The Loch Ness Racer
Fans of the show called Top Gear would know who is in the Google Street View still above. It's The Stig, and his outfit is the same as professional racing drivers. The Stig never talked, and those behind the series never revealed who is underneath the helmet.
It's unclear if the man above is the one who appeared on the show or a random man who decided to wear a Stig costume. Some of you might also find the area familiar because it's Scottland's Loch Ness. Many got intrigued about the area because of the alleged Loch Ness Monster lurking inside the water.
Regretting The Argument By Now
We've watched the scene in one too many movies: Two people in a car get into an argument, and one of them decides to exit in the middle of nowhere and walks away. The picture above proves that the scenario happens in real life, and it looks like this woman had to brave the intense heat of the New Mexico desert.
We don't know the reason behind her hitchhiking journey, and it looks like dragging her luggage with her doesn't make anything easier. What she's doing is pretty dangerous since the heat could lead to life-threatening issues. If her body temperature surpasses 40° C, she could get a heatstroke.
Ready For Shipping
Online sellers always make sure that your packages are secure enough for shipping. For the car in this photo, the owner made sure that it got covered in plastic to stay protected no matter what happens. The plastic covering will probably help keep it clean during its journey.
In the United States, about 70% of automobile travels by rail before reaching the buyer or dealer. Auto racks are multi-deck vehicles that allow a company to deliver several rides in one go. Whoever attempted to transport this sedan will have to use a rack since they can't open its doors because of the plastic.
Watch Me Play Dead
The image above is yet another example of people playing dead in public. We don't think anyone should get bothered by what's happening since they could be a high school theatrical group having a rehearsal in public. They chose to rehearse at a parking lot, maybe outside their school or local theater.
The woman in the pink outfit looks like she's curtsying, and it might be because it was the end of their performance. The most famous plays staged by teenagers in America are A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Almost, Maine, and Clue.
Social Distancing From The Fire
Those who choose to work as brave firefighters have a tough job because they put their own lives at risk whenever they have to put out a fire. Their annual salary averages at $51K, so it's safe to say they make a decent living. Google Street View captured a fire in Arkansas once, and you can see the firefighters doing their job from afar.
The fire inside the house might've been too intense, so they didn't want to step any closer. If it weren't for the brave men that day, there could've been a catastrophic forest fire in the area.
Life Before Subway
Google Street View photographed this incredible moment in 2008 of a lovely couple having an intimate wedding in a small building in Cardiff, Wales. It might not mean anything to anyone right now, but locals know that they can't use the place to tie the knot anymore these days.
Sources claim that the establishment is now a Subway shop where people come to enjoy a wide selection of sandwiches, and if they still want to exchange vows, they might have to talk to the owner and rent the whole place for a hefty price.
Trick Or Treat?
With horror films like The Conjuring, Paranormal Activity, and The Nun becoming famous these days, you can't avoid people getting spooked by sightings like this. It looks like someone tried to escape from the wonder, but two people decided to drag them back.
You might think that there must be some paranormal activity happening here, but the truth is that the owners of this house in Chicago just decorated his window in the spirit of Halloween. Kids who saw this while asking for candy probably thought twice before ringing the doorbell.
