Every now and then, you sit back on your couch and watch some old movie, which is even black and white probably. How would you feel though if you knew that some of these iconic actors you see playing in these vintage films are still alive? Many of these stars helped shape the Golden Age of Hollywood, and even if most of them are now in their nineties, they take good care of their health, still looking glimmering. Others haven't even retired, and a bit of hair loss hasn't stopped them from acting. While most people on this list are actors, there are some surprising entries that you wouldn't want to miss!

Tina Louise, 84 Years Old

Realizing that Tina Louise is now 84 years old is quite shocking. The actress made a name for herself by portraying Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island, and to be honest, her subsequent roles haven't been that notable, even if she remains active in the industry. Louise has also released a personal music record, and she's an activist defending children's rights.  She looks great, even if she's now 84, and she must surely have a healthy lifestyle to beat the mark of time.

Julie Andrews, 82 Years Old

Younger generations still watch Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, and that's just proof of how magnificent an actress and singer Julie Andrews is. Now at 82 years old, her acting work has remained memorable, though she still performs every now and then, even as a voice actress. Apparently, despite her age, her mental health is still pretty good, and Andrews is now a great-grandmother. Well, being one while also looking like she does seems like a dream to us.

Dick Van Dyke, 92 Years Old

Dick Van Dyke will always stay in history for his appearance in Marry Poppins, as well as for his hilarious TV show, The Dick Van Dyke Show. This acting legend has gone through a lot in his life, like a car crash a couple of years ago, where his automobile went up in flames. Fortunately, Van Dyke narrowly escaped death. In addition, the historic celebrity has had issues with smoking throughout his whole life, but we hope that despite that, he does have a heart disease awareness somehow.

We can't even begin to mention every successful movie that Christopher Plummer has appeared in, but the Canadian actor is surely one of the best actors out there. Tippi Hedren, 88 Years Old

Tippi Hedren's name is connected to success in the acting field, as her starring roles in many movies, especially Hitchcock's The Birds, made her one of the hottest names in her generation. Sidney Poitier, 91 Years Old

Sidney Poitier's starring role in Lilies of the Field is just legendary. Not only was this movie staggering, but it helped black Americans blend well into the entire American population, as Poitier was the first Bahamian-American to ever win an Oscar Award. The veteran actor is now in his 90s, and he has six daughters, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. We don't know about you, but we might be in need of some family counseling if we were in his shoes. 

Carl Reiner, 96 Years Old

Carl Reiner is a man of many talents, as proven through his many decades in showbiz. He's most recognized for his work with Dick Van Dyke and Mel Brookes, though younger fans will probably remember him from the Ocean's Eleven franchise. Not only hasn't age affected this star's mental health, but he is, in fact, active in Social Media platforms, such as Twitter, making him one of the oldest people engaging in such activities. Now living in Beverly Hills, Reiner has three children, and his granddaughter, Tracey Reiner, is also an actress.

Robert Fuller - 84 Years Old

Robert Fuller began his acting career during the '50s, appearing in Western movies and TV shows such as Wagon Train, The Brain from Planet Arous, and Teenage Thunder. Although Fuller had a lot more to offer to the world of film, the actor made his retirement official in 2001. Today, the retired movie star enjoys being a horse rancher, spending his days on a ranch with his wife, actress Jennifer Savidge.

Ed Asner, 88 Years Old

Acclaimed actor Ed Asner is best recognized for portraying Lou Grant in the hit series, The Mary Tyler Moore Show. However, what you might not know is that Asner voice-acted in Pixar's animated film, Up. Asner has also served as the President of the Screen Actors Guild, and he is a well-respected personality among acting circles. Julie Gibson - 105 Years Old

At 105 years old, Julie Gibson is the oldest name from the Golden Age of Hollywood who is still alive to this day. Her career was at an all-time high back in the 1940s. She first became a part of the orchestra of Jimmie Grier then she later joined the radio program of Joe Penner. Gibson finally became a household name, thanks to the roles she had on Lucky Cowboy and Chick Carter. Her last notable project was the show Family Affair where she worked as a Dialogue Supervisor. Gibson has been in retirement since the 1980s and lives a very quiet life away from the public.

Katharine Ross,  78 Years Old

It would be impossible to forget Katharine Ross' smile and blue eyes. Actually, it would be even harder to forget about her remarkable performance in The Graduate. Among her other, most notable roles were the ones in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Stepford Wives. Though she has retired, she still makes guests appearances every now and then, but she's mostly focused on living a quiet, relaxed life alongside her husband, actor Sam Elliot.

Barbara Walters, 89 Years Old

Television personality, author, and broadcast journalist Barbara Walters is perhaps best known for hosting The View, the ABC Evening News, and 20/20. In 2010, rumors circulated about Barbara retiring but she kept on contributing occasionally for ABC News. She married her third husband, Lorimar Television CEO Merv Adelson, in 1981 but they divorced in 1984. Merv and Walters remarried once again in 1986 before finally divorcing again in 1992. Since then, Walters has dated several prominent figures, including Alan Greenspan, the U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman, and the United States Senator John Warner. Walters has had heart problems and in 2010, she announced on The View that she would undergo open heart surgery.

Jerry Stiller, 91 Years Old

Comedian and actor Gerald Isaac Stiller spent the better part of his career as one half of the comedy duo known as Stiller and Meara alongside his wife Anne. He later snagged a role on the NBC sitcom Seinfeld and then the CBS series, The King of Queens. The two comedians are the parents of actor Ben Stiller, and Jerry has starred alongside his son in several films, including Zoolander, Hot Pursuit, and The Heartbreak Kid. Stiller met his wife at an agent’s office, and unfortunately, Meara passed away on May 23, 2015.

Vera Lynn, 101 Years Old

Vera Lynn is one of England's most praised women, primarily for her musical stints during WWII. She toured in India, Egypt, and other distant countries to perform for the English troops, relieving them of their stress and fear. One could assume that, by singing for the exhausted and scared soldiers, she provided a form of psychotherapy for them. When she returned, she kept her visibility by appearing on TV shows, and when she hit 100 years of age, she released a special album entitled Vera Lynn 100.

Prunella Scales, 86 Years Old

English actress Prunella Margaret Scales is best known for her role on BBC’s Fawlty Towers. She also appeared on A Question of Attribution as Queen Elizabeth II, a role that earned her a BAFTA nomination. She’s married to actor Timothy West and they have two sons together; their eldest is director Samuel West. John Murray published her biography titled Prunella in 2005. Both she and her husband are appointees to the rank of Commander of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) Birthday Honours List. Scales also serves as an SOS Children’s charity ambassador.

Kim Novak, 85 Years Old

Kim Novak had a wonderful career in Hollywood, even if she opted to retire quite early. Having starred alongside acting colossi such as Kirk Douglas, her most prominent role was the one of Madeline Elster/Judy Barton in Hitchcock's iconic film Vertigo. Everything seemed to work just fine for Novak, until 2010, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, she seems to have everything under control, and her doctors have told her that she's now cancer-free.

Olivia De Havilland, 102 Years Old

Olivia De Havilland actually needs no introduction. An established actress during the Golden Age of Hollywood, she'll stay in history for her appearance in The Heiress, The Snake Pit, and To Each His Own. Amazingly, De Havilland has reached 102 years of age, facing no serious issues, and she never required hair loss treatment! The glamorous lady still looks glimmering, and how couldn't she - with all the bucks she's made after such a fruitful career?

Clu Gulager, 90 Years Old

Clu Gulager first gained popularity after appearing in the hit NBC TV series The Tall Man as William H. Bonney. Gulager also portrayed the role of Emmett Ryker in another NBC western series The Virginian, though his first major role was in the film The Killers where he played professional serial killer Lee. At the age of 90, Clu does not have any plans of going into retirement as he is still active in the industry. In fact, he appeared in two films in 2018 - Children of the Corn: Runaway and Give Til It Hurts. He also has a part in the upcoming film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Charlotte Rampling, 72 Years Old

Charlotte Rampling became a well-known actress as she appeared in multiple European arthouse films. She became an icon of the Swinging Sixties in her younger years, began her modeling career, and later became a fashion muse. At the age of 72, even though Charlotte had already achieved greatness in her career, it seems like she won't be having her retirement soon. Charlotte even released her own autobiography titled Qui Je Suis that was published in 2015. She is still active in the industry and has appeared in multiple films, including Red Sparrow, Hannah, and The Sense of an Ending.

Loni Anderson, 72 Years Old

You probably remember Loni Anderson and her lush lips, with which she stunned men when she appeared in WKRP as the sultry Jennifer Marlowe. Her acting debut was in the 1966 Steve McQueen-starred film Nevada Smith. Anderson also gained a lot of attention for her short relationship with Burt Reynolds, one of the biggest stars of her time. Though her career later started declining, her bank account is surely in good shape as she hasn't stopped acting. In fact, Anderson has a recurring role in the TV series My Sister Is So Gay, where she has been appearing since 2016.

Rhonda Fleming, 94 Years Old

Rhonda Fleming was a huge female role model back in the day, and people started noticing her after her starring role in Hitchcock's Spellbound. Fleming appeared in around forty Hollywood films, and her big break came from the Alfred Hitchcock film, Spellbound.  Her bright red hair and colors that she wore weren't visible at first, but when Technicolor TV was introduced, and people witnessed her beauty, she was later called "The Queen of Technicolor." Flemming is now 94, still looking fabulous.

Hal Holbrook, 93 Years Old

Hal Holbrook's legacy in Hollywood will live on forever, as the iconic actor starred in several acclaimed films of his time, though he is most famous for playing Mark Twain in Mark Twain Tonight, a one-man stage play. He has won several Awards, and retiring isn't among his plans, as he even appeared in the recent hit show, Sons of Anarchy. His health seems to be pretty good for the time being, despite his age, and he's expected to live many more years.

Carol Channing, 97 Years Old

Carol Channing is still among the top musical actresses, as she starred in many Broadway productions, such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Hello Dolly!. Her most notable silver screen role was the one on Thoroughly Modern Mile, and her distinct voice, along with her acting skills, made her a huge star back then. Channing stays in top shape despite being 97 years old. That is made possible, thanks to her unique nutrition habits, as she hasn't eaten non-homemade good in ages.

Tony Bennett, 91 Years Old

There's not much to say about Tony Bennett. A true music legend of his generation, he dominated the music industry during the '50s, and believe it or not, he's now 91 years old, and still active! His voice still has its trademark tone, while somehow, Bennett has managed to become more and more charming as he grew up.  Surprisingly, the singing guru witnessed tragic stuff during WWII, in which he fought, but he never required psychological therapy. He's now nine years away from becoming a centenarian.

Queen Elizabeth II, 92 Years Old

After all these years on the throne, Queen Elizabeth II is now more than just England's reigning lady. In fact, her distinct clothing options, enormous wealth, and ways have made her a global celebrity, and in 2016, she became the world's longest-serving monarch. The Queen must be taking all her vitamins and supplements regularly, as, apart from some minor health issues in 2017, she's still looking as good as ever, making people wonder how excellent her genes are.

Eva Marie Saint, 94 Years Old

With a career that dates back to the '40s, Eva Marie Saint is more than just a historical actress. Saint is one of many actresses who became stars by playing in a Hitchcock movie (she appeared in North By Northwest), though she's better known for her role in On the Waterfront, which, in fact, granted her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. George H. W. Bush, 94 Years Old

George H. W. Bush is one of the most popular former US Presidents, and his political legacy kept living through his son George Bush's work, who is a former US President as well. Apart from being a politician, Bush Sr. had also engaged in many business ventures, increasing his personal wealth tremendously, something that helped him get elected. He's now 94, but he has been rushed to the hospital numerous times, and he needs to be really careful if he wants to avoid such a thing happening once more. 

Jimmy Carter, 93 Years Old

Another former US President who's currently in his nineties is Jimmy Carter, who led the country during the late '70s and early '80s. Carter had also served in the US Navy, something that he had dreamed of since he was a teenager. In 2013, the former politician and activist announced that he had cancer, and received aggressive chemo to fight against it. In 2015, reports claimed that Carter had recovered from his condition and that he didn't suffer from the notorious disease anymore.

Beverly Cleary, 102 Years Old

If you loved reading as a child, then you're certainly familiar with Beverly Cleary, one of the greatest children's fiction authors ever. Ribsy and Ralph S. Mouse are now considered classics, and the talented author has enjoyed a life full of success, with critics praising her for her writing skills. What many people don't know is that Clearly had numerous cats over the years, which definitely worked as emotional support animals for her, as pets tend to keep us happy and make our stress disappear. Cleary is now 102 years old!

June Lockhart, 93 Years Old

June Lockhart made us admire her acting talent in many different projects, from TV and films to stage plays. She's famous for her TV appearance in Lassie, and for the Broadway play, For Love or Money. Just imagine that this iconic actress has two spots on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Though she's now 93 years old, her hairstyle is just as fabulous as it was during her early adulthood, and fortunately, the Hollywood legend won't face any physical issues in the future.

Robert Clary, 92 Years Old

Robert Clary became famous for his acting and singing skills, and his story is very impressive. When he was 16, Clary was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp, in Buchenwald. He capitalized on his beautiful voice to survive, as he often sang for Nazi troops. He entertained them, and in exchange, they spared his life. He later moved to America where he made his first 'acting' steps. It still amazes us that Clary never seemed to have suffered from mental illness after all that he went through.

Arlene Dahl, 92 Years Old

Arlene Dahl, one of the most beloved redheads of her time, became pretty famous during the '50s, even if her acting career was rather short. She then ventured into other activities, such as opening her own cosmetics and women's lingerie line. She later started working with a big advertising company, Kenyon and Eckhardt, which she eventually left as well. Dahl is now 92 years old, and her distinct ginger looks are still glimmering. She got married six times and divorced fives times!

Gene Reynolds, 95 Years Old

Gene Reynolds tried to make his first steps into acting when he was still very young, but unluckily, it was his call of duty that delayed his progress. Reynolds had to fight in WWII, and he luckily didn't suffer any serious injuries. When he came back, he started working as a director, and he was one of the brains behind the hit series, M*A*S*H. He won many awards, and we guess that at 95, he really watches out for his health, especially after surviving war.

Jimmy Lydon, 95 Years Old

Jimmy Lydon's father was addicted to drinking, and the other family members had to work in order to survive. When he first started acting, it was a matter of survival and providing for the family's well-being. However, Lydon soon came to love what he was doing on stage and on the small screen. Along with Gene Reynolds, they're the creators of the famous TV series M*A*S*H. The veteran actor is now 95, with no health issues troubling him, fortunately. He has two children and is now living with his second wife.

Caren Marsh-Doll, 99 Years Old

Caren Marsh-Doll was unfortunately never credited for her participation in the Wizard of Oz and Ziegfeld Girl films because she worked as Judy Garland's dance double. However, the people who worked in the industry definitely know her. The 99-year-old dancer almost lost her life in 1949, when the plane she was on crashed. She almost had her left foot amputated, and though she was informed that she would probably never dance again, with extensive treatment and her strong will, she returned to dancing, against all odds. 

Marge Champion, 98 Years Old

We're sure that you love Disney's classic animated films, but do you know who was responsible for the dance moves that most of their princesses performed? Disney's directors imitated Marge Champion's moves to enrich their characters' realism and dancing. The renowned dancer and choreographer is now 98 years old, but she definitely doesn't look like it. She must have had some top notch injury insurance, as the occupational hazard of a career in dancing is quite high. Champion has also worked briefly as an actress, having made numerous TV appearances.

Valentina Cortese, 95 Years Old

Sophia Loren wasn't Italy's only celebrity who made it big in Hollywood. Valentina Cortese is another Italian actress who dominated American showbiz, especially with her role in Day For Night, for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She made a lot of bucks back then, which are surely helpful, as she's now 95 years old, and an excellent health insurance is much needed. Despite her age, she always has the most eccentric and stylish clothing options. 

Prince Philip, 97 Years Old

Prince Philip was Royalty material before even tying the knot with Queen Elizabeth II. He was Prince of Greece and Denmark, and in fact, he was born in the Greek Island of Corfu. Philip served in the Royal Navy and fought during WWII. In 1947, he got married to Elizabeth, after they had originally met in 1939. In 2018, Prince Philip checked into a hospital to undergo a hip replacement procedure. Everything went fine, and just a few days later, he attended his grandson Prince Harry's wedding. 

Peggy Stewart, 95 Years Old

Peggy Stewart became quite popular for her roles in Western B-movies, and she also appeared in many TV shows of her time. She has been acting until recent years, and it seems like her partial hair loss hasn't lessened her motivation to continue appearing on the small screen. Stewart is now 95 years old, and she has been married twice. Her first marriage ended with a breakup, while her second husband, Buck Young, passed away in 2000. She has no children. 

Sam Elliott, 73 Years Old

Though Sam Elliot got his acting debut in the Guys and Dolls musical film, he became a star by playing in numerous Western movies. His mustache and deep voice made him perfect for such roles, and despite being in his early seventies, he's still active. He even appeared in the 2007 film, Ghost Rider. The veteran actor now lives in Malibu alongside his wife Katherine Ross, with whom they have one child. Although he has slowed down, full retirement doesn't seem to be in his plans.

Brigitte Bardot, 83 Years Old

Brigitte Bardot, in her time, was actress Sophia Loren’s greatest rival. She was jaw-droppingly beautiful and it so happened that she and Sophia were the same age, too. In her youth, Bardot actually dreamed of becoming a ballerina, but it didn't take her long to realize how much better acting was for her credit report! It later proved to be a good choice as she starred in over forty films, strutted several catwalks, and released a couple songs during her active years. She boasts a $65-million fortune to show for it all! Currently, she focuses on animal rights activism.

Loretta Swit, 80 Years Old

Loretta Swit’s parents were rather dubious about their daughter pursuing a career in acting, believing it wouldn’t earn her a proper living. With so many failed actors, we don’t really blame them! However, Loretta’s talent was exceptional and she ended up with $4 million to her name. Although she began acting at a tender age of seven, things didn’t look up until she took on the role of Maj in the show M*A*S*H—which turned out to be the most famous role she ever took on. She gave up acting in the ‘90s to live a comfortable life.

Philip Michael Thomas, 69 Years Old

Philip Thomas grabbed the public's attention with his impressive acting in Coonskin back in 1975. He later added to his portfolio the credit for Sparkle and the ‘80s hit TV series Miami Vice. Also, his voice was used for the character Lance Vance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City—probably easily recognizable by game enthusiasts. He has also released two music albums. But unfortunately for him, the albums were a flop and didn’t make sales. You win some, you lose some!

Meredith Baxter, 71 Years Old

Acting fans still remember her from the Cranford TV series, while her astounding acting performances led to her being appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. We last saw her on TV  in Doc Martins in 2017, where she acted since 2011.

Sono Osato, 99 Years Old

Sono Osato's dancing was so amazing that it helped her gain attention and many roles pretty fast. Being of Japanese and European descent, Osato joined the Ballets Russe Russe De Monte-Carlo when she was just 14. Osato later started working for the American Ballet Theatre and performed in classical ballets such as Sleeping Beauty and Pillar of Fire. She also appeared in numerous Broadway plays and in the TV series The Adventures of Ellery Queen.  Osato had been married to Victor Elmaleh, who worked as a real estate developer, since 1943. However, Elmaleh sadly passed away in 2014.

Cara Williams, 93 Years Old

Jill St. John, 78 Years Old

Jill St. John was destined to become a star. She was just six years old when she started working on the radio. Three years later, she appeared in the 1949 TV movie, A Christmas Carol. She later signed contracts with Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox, landing numerous roles until her most recognizable and lucrative one in 1971. St. John portrayed the Bond girl, Tiffany Case, in the classic Diamonds Are Forever (just like Bond girls after all). We last saw her performing on screen in the 2014 film North Pole where she portrayed Mrs. Claus. Apparently, retirement is not in her upcoming plans.

Richard Erdman, 93 Years Old

Richard Erdman's acting career spans over seven decades, as he has appeared in more than 160 films and TV shows. He started his career in the '40s when he appeared in Mr. Skeffington and Janie. And pretty soon, lucrative roles kept coming. His most recognizable role was the one in the classic Stalag 17. Erdman has also directed the film Mooch Goes to Hollywood. Tragedy hit Erdman in 2010 when his only daughter passed away of an accidental prescription drug overdose. Despite his age, he had a recurring role in theTV series, Community, from 2009 to 2015. He also appeared on an episode of Dr. Ken in 2017.

Tommy Cook, 88 Years Old

Tommy Cook's career portfolio is rather impressive as he managed to achieve success in acting, radio producing, voice acting, and screenwriting. Originally gaining attention as a child actor, Cook was mostly known as a writer and a voice actor. His career's highlight was definitely writing the storyline for the 1977 film Rollercoaster. Cook's voice was mostly recognized in the animated series The Funky Phantom, Jabberjaw, and The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. His last acting credit came in 2017 when he appeared on an episode of the Enforcer TV Series.  Its sequel, Enforcer: The Asset, is currently being filmed and Cook is expected to appear in it as well.

John Astin, 88 Years Old

There's probably not a single person who's not familiar with John Astin, as his portrayal of Gomez Addams has made him a timeless TV celeb. It all started in 1964 when he joined the cast of The Addams Family, the famous haunted group of people and their hilarious adventures. He reprised his role in Halloween With the Addams Family and in the animated TV series of the original show. Meanwhile, his first directorial work titled Prelude in 1968 earned him an Oscar nomination. Astin continues acting until today. And having no health issues despite his age, he also teaches drama at the Johns Hopkins University. 

Billy Dee Williams, 81 Years Old

Billy Dee Williams has a huge acting background behind him and it all started back in the '50s. He has acted in acclaimed films such as Bryan's Song, Mahogany, and the 1989 Batman. His biggest retirement investment, though, proved to be his role in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, where he portrayed Lando Calrissian. Williams reprised his role in subsequent Star Wars films and he's become one of the most beloved characters for sci-fi fans. Williams, who is now 81 years old, is set to portray Calrissian once again in the next ST film slated in 2019 titled Star Wars: Episode IX which is currently under filming.

David Attenborough, 92 Years Old

It's no surprise that David Attenborough is considered to be one of Britain's "national treasures" (though he's not really fond of the term, as he claimed). With a career in media that spans over 50 years, Attenborough first gained fame when he became BBC's senior manager in the '60s. He became one of the world's most beloved broadcasters when he started narrating and presenting documentaries, primarily regarding natural history. Henry Kissinger, 95 Years Old

Henry Kissinger is undoubtedly the most controversial political figure in America, at least in recent years. Kissinger became famous when he served as the National Security Advisor and Secretary of State in the '60s and '70s, serving under former US Presidents Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon. Modern aerodynamics wouldn't be the same without Chuck Yeager who played a significant role in US Air Force's history and progress. In 1947, he made history by being the first pilot to ever fly faster than the speed of sound. Following WWII, he also worked as a test pilot for many more aircraft projects and was already considered a legend by the time he left the US Army. Yeager's private life became highly publicized when, in early 2003, there was a money dispute among his 41-years-younger girlfriend, Victoria Scott D'Angelo,  and his children who believed she used him for his estimated $1.5 million fortune.

Bob Newhart, 89 Years Old

Leachman hasn't stopped working despite her age and money is surely not the motive behind her activity. Just imagine that, in 2008, she participated in Dancing With the Stars even if she was 82 at the time! In 2017, she appeared in American Gods, but the popular TV series was eventually canceled. Leachman is now 92!

Mel Brooks, 92 Years Old

Few men are as gifted as Mel Brooks when it comes to comedy and that's why he became a legendary writer and director. He initially started his career as a writer for Your Show of Shows, but it was his creation (along with Buck Henry), iconic comedy show Get Smart, which made him a star. During the '70s, Brooks worked behind the scenes of numerous blockbuster hits such as The Producers and Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Nowadays, Brooks is an EGOT winner—one of only 12 people to achieve that. Retirement is not an option for Brooks who recently voice acted in Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation in 2018.

Debbie Harry, 73 Years Old

Debbie Harry and her work with Blondie are unparalleled (just like her blond hair). Harry is considered a pioneer in music, as her band's recordings incorporated many different music genres. Just imagine that even if Blondie was considered a rock band, their song Rupture was considered to be the first rap song to top the US Billboard chart. At some point, Harry and the band parted ways but came back together in the '90s. Harry's name was widely discussed in 2014 when she announced that she is attracted to both men and women. However, in 2017, she stated that she's not attracted to women anymore.

Mickey Kuhn, 86 Years Old

Sometimes, promising child stars never reach their full potential—as Mickey Kuhn's case shows. Kuhn became popular in the '30s and '40s, especially after his appearance in the all-time classic Gone With the Wind. Other notable appearances of his include Juarez, Red River, and Broken Arrow. After appearing for the last time on screen in Alfred Hitchcock Presents back in 1956, he worked for American Airlines in various administrative positions. Nowadays, he lives in Naples, along with his wife Barbara Traci, where he works voluntarily in their local hospital for four hours each week. Despite leaving the industry at such a young age, Kuhn often makes guest appearances in film conventions.

Norma Miller, 99 Years Old

If you're interested in learning how to dance the lindy hop and swing, then you definitely need to check out Norma Miller—regarded by many as the Queen of Swing. She joined the renowned dancing group Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the '30s when she was just 15 years old. And amazingly, she took dancing classes after leaving the group. Miller has also appeared in many films—with the most notable one being Malcolm X—while she tried her luck in book writing as well. Though she's almost a centenarian now, she appeared in a 2018 Swedish production, Dansa först, regarding Swing and Lindy Hop dancers. 

Richard Chamberlain, 84 Years Old

Starring in Dr. Kildare with his blue eyes and captivating smile made Richard Chamberlain a huge teen idol and masculine symbol of his time. His subsequent notable roles include those in TV series such as Shogun and The Thorn Birds. He was also the first actor to portray Jason Bourne in the 1988 film The Bourne Identity. Chamberlain has also worked in numerous stage plays. But he stunned his female fans when, in 1989, the French Magazine Nous Deux claimed that he was gay. It wasn't until the release of his 2003 autobiography, though, that he finally admitted it. Chamberlain is still active in the industry, even if he's 84.

Mary Beth Peil, 78 Years Old

Mary Beth Peil studied opera singing at the Northwestern University and then went on to receive some fat paychecks working as an opera singer for the Boris Goldovsky's Opera Company and the Metropolitan Opera. Peil appeared in several Broadway musicals throughout the '70s and '80s, gaining praise and recognition for her work in Kiss Me, Kate and The King And I. She then turned to TV and film acting, appearing in popular productions such as Dawson's Creek and Mirrors. Her age hasn't stopped her when it comes to acting, with her last acting credit being in the 2018 film Best Day Of My Life.

Doris Day, 96 Years Old

Doris Day left her mark in the acting industry, though she originally started out as a singer, before rising to stardom with her silver screen performances. The iconic actress is most known for her work in Calamity Jane, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and many more. Amazingly, at 96 years of age, the acting legend still hasn't lost that smiling face of hers despite perhaps her thinning hair. After retiring, Day dedicated her life to activism regarding animal rights.

Glynis Johns, 95 Years Old

Glynis Johns started pursuing acting back in the late 1930s and was successful in both stage and mainstream acting. On Broadway, she is best remembered for her award-winning performance in A Little Night Music. Her most notable big-screen performances were in Mary Poppins and The Sundowners. Her performance in The Sundowners even got her nominated for an Oscar. Over the years, Johns was able to experience getting married four times but all her marriages ended in divorce. She is already 95 today and her last acting role was in 1999's Superstar.

Loretta Lynn, 86 Years Old

Loretta Lynn is considered to be country music's absolute Queen—and she has multiple awards to prove this. Lynn has won both Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association accolades. In 2018, she was also named Artist of a Lifetime by CMT. Lynn currently has not done retirement planning as she also released a new record titled Wouldn't It Be Great in 2018.  Even if they faced numerous marital problems throughout the years, Lynn has only married once to Doolittle Lynn and they have 6 children together. Doolittle, who died in 1966, was the one who bought her her first guitar. And in case you didn't know, Lynn was self-taught.

Barbara Mandrell, 69 Years Old

Barbara Mandrell was a very popular country singer during the 1970s through 1980s. Some of her most popular singles were (If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right, Sleeping Single in a Double Bed, and I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool. In the mid-1980s, Mandrell landed a long stay at the hospital after she was involved in a serious car crash. She has been retired since the late 1990s and chooses to live a peaceful life with her family these days. Her most recent release was a compilation album back in 2016 titled This Time I Almost Made It: The Lost Columbia Masters.

Max Baer Jr., 81 Years Old

Max Baer Jr. is well-recognized for appearing on the show, The Beverly Hillbillies, wherein he gave life to the role of Jethro Bodine. Baer Jr. is actually the only main cast member of the show who is still very much alive today. In more recent times, he seems like he is already in retirement when it comes to acting. Baer Jr. had plans to put up his own hotel and casino called Jethro's Casino. But unfortunately, the business plans were indefinitely suspended back in 2017 due to some litigation problems.

Susan Flannery – 79 Years Old

Susan Flannery is a known actress, recognized for her roles on The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of Our Lives. She was also on The Gumball Rally, The Towering Inferno, Money on the Side, Dallas, and besides acting, she directed regularly on The Bold and the Beautiful soap opera, earning two award nominations by the Directors Guild of America. OK, we admit it. We're very jealous of Honor Blackman. We don't know which kind of sorcery helps her look that stunning in her nineties, but it's probably her love for martial arts which kept her away from any kind of medical treatment all these years. The British beauty gained attention after portraying Cathy Gale in The Avengers TV show, later skyrocketing her fame with her role of Pussy Galore in the famous Bond film, Goldfinger. Her second marriage ended in 1975, and she hasn't gotten married again ever since.

Betty White, 97 Years Old

We don't know what kind of healthy diet Betty White is on, but we want it, ASAP! The iconic actress made her first 'acting' steps in the '40s, and since then, it's been nothing but success for her. After numerous decades of performing both in TV and in the silver screen, White shows no signs of fatigue or boredom, proving that acting is indeed what she was born for. Moreover, her humanitarian work regarding animals has been astounding. What a legend!

Leah Bracknell, 54 Years Old

English actress Leah Bracknell is best known for portraying the character Zoe Tate in ITV’s Emmerdale soap. She won the British Soap Award for the Best Exit in 2006 for her role on the show. Bracknell obtained qualifications as a teacher from the British School of yoga and designs. She also has her own jewelry line. In October 2016, she disclosed to the public that she has stage 4 terminal lung cancer. Within three days, a fundraising appeal initiated hit the target of £50K to help her access experimental treatment in Germany.

Herman Wouk, 103 Years Old

American author Herman Wouk won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1951 for his novel, The Caine Mutiny. Some of his other well-known books include the historical novels War and Remembrance and The Winds of War, and the non-fiction publications like This Is My God. The Washington Post dubbed Wouk the reclusive dean of historical novelists and peers who gathered to celebrate his 80th birthday in 1995 at the Library of Congress described him as the American Tolstoy.  Wouk cherishes his privacy but a few details have become known about his family, like that he’s been married to Betty Sarah Brown since 1945 and they have three children.

Bob Dole, 95 Years Old

Retired politician Robert Joseph Dole served as a U.S. senator and before that, he represented Kansas in the House of Representatives. Dole then served as the United States Senate Republican Leader from 1985 through to 1996. He’s been awarded several honorary degrees, including a Doctor of Laws from the University of Kansas and a Doctor of Arts from Fort Hays State University. Dole is also a Russell Lodge No. 177 member and a freemason. Interestingly, in conversations, Dole has a fondness for illeisms, referring to himself in the third person. Dole has struggled with health problems in recent years, including going into the emergency room in September 2017 for low blood pressure issues.

Leslie Phillips, 94 Years Old

Leslie Philips gained prominence for his appearance in 1950s films with most of his characters being suave charmers with an extremely overexaggerated upper-class accent. Philips then moved from comedy to taking up character roles like in the Harry Potter series of films. Philips married actress Angela Scoular in 1982 and they stayed together until her death in 2011. Although she underwent bipolar treatment, Scoular, who also suffered from bowel cancer, eventually took her own life. Philips couldn’t attend the inquest into her death three months after the incident because of his ailing state.

Robert Mugabe, 94 Years Old

Zimbabwean revolutionary leader Robert Mugabe served as Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister and later president from 1987 to 2017. Mugabe’s leadership has been praised for helping to liberate Zimbabwe from British imperialism and colonialism. On the other hand, he’s been criticized for his dictatorship and economic mismanagement. The country’s ruined economy had an impact on the rise of the HIV epidemic in the ‘90s. Towards the end of 2017, a rebellion forced Mugabe into resignation and he was accorded full diplomatic status soon after. He went ahead to hold press conferences in 2018 stating that he had been ousted in a coup d’etat and terming his successor Emmerson Mnangagwa's presidency as unconstitutional.

Pierre Cardin, 96 Years Old

French fashion designer Pierre Cardin is best known for his signature space age and avant-garde designs. In 1991, Cardin became the Food and Agriculture Organization’s Goodwill Ambassador. He also dabbled in industrial design, coming up with ‘themes’ that are applicable across various products. Cardin landed a contract with the American Motors Corporation which incorporated his theme on the AMC Javelin. Cardin unsuccessfully tried to sell his business in 2011 for €1 billion despite the Wall Street Journal valuing it at a fifth of the amount and ultimately, the brand never sold.

Stirling Moss, 89 Years Old

Former British Formula One racer Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss is an International Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee. He boasts of winning 212 out of the total of 529 races that he entered during his career. Moss first retired from racing in 1962 after a crash but he made a comeback to regular racing in 1980 through to 2011 when he finally retired once again. In December of 2016, Moss became ill and was admitted to a medical facility in Singapore. He had a serious chest infection and what followed was a lengthy recovery period and subsequently, in January 2018, he announced his retirement from public life.

Joni Mitchell, 75 Years Old

Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell has many accolades under her belt, including nine Grammy Awards. Her music draws on jazz, folk, pop, and rock fusions, and focusses on addressing environmental and social ideals. Mitchell has also impressively produced most of her albums. She released her 17th and final album in 2007 which, in turn, ended her career in the music industry. She disclosed in 2010 that she was suffering from the Morgellons syndrome and quit the music industry to raise awareness about the illness. The medical consensus about the self-diagnosed skin condition (which sufferers explain is characterized by sores and blisters) is that it’s a form of delusional infestation.

Paul Gascoigne, 51 Years Old

Paul Gascoigne formerly played soccer professionally, earning the nickname “Gazza.” Gascoigne, along with team England, made it to the 1990 FIFA World Cup and they clinched the fourth place. He famously cried when he received a yellow card when playing against West Germany during the semi-finals of that World Cup. Gascoine has had a history with alcoholism and mental illness. It’s been a downward spiral for Gascoigne who has been involved in several alcoholism-induced incidents and his most recent stint in rehabilitation was in January 2017. In November 2018, Gascione was charged for indecent assault following an incident that took place aboard a train in August of that year.

Javier Perez de Cuellar, 99 Years Old

Former Peruvian diplomat Javier de Cuellar served as the United Nationa’s fifth Secretary-General from 1982 to 1991. Cuellar was also Peru’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister from 2000 to 2001. He’s also a Club de Madrid member composed of over 100 former Prime Ministers and Presidents. Cuellar turned 99 on January 19, 2019, making him the oldest living former Secretary General of the U.N. and Peruvian prime minister. Cuellar had a heart attack in 2005, forcing him to spend eight days at a Paris medical facility. On October 24, 2018, false reports circulated claiming that Cueller had passed away but they were soon refuted.

Jill Gascoine, 81 Years Old

British novelist and actress Jill Gascoine is perhaps best known for her role in the '80s series The Gentle Touch followed by its spin-off, C.A.T.S. Eyes. Gascoine has been twice married first to hotelier Bill Keith and then to actor Alfred Molina, and she has two sons from her first marriage. Gascoine has suffered from clinical depression for the better part of her life, and she has fully recovered from kidney cancer after an early diagnosis in 1997. In 2013, she revealed that she suffers from Alzheimer’s and in 2016, her husband reported that she had reached an advanced stage of the illness.

Stanley Baxter, 92 Years Old

The Stanley Baxter Show, Time For Baxter, and Mr. Majeika are some of the comedy shows that Scottish impressionist and actor Stanley Baxter has headlined. He started out as a child actor and his career spans across theater, radio, TV, and films, and his first big screen role was in the 1955 full movie, Geordie. Baxter has also written several publications based on the populous Scottish city - Glasgow. He has earned multiple awards over the years, including BAFTA awards for some of his self-titled TV shows.  In August of 2014, Baxter signed a letter addressed to The Guardian by public figures expressing their vote against Scotland becoming independent from the United Kingdom.

Valery Giscard d'Estaing, 92 Years Old

Better known by the acronyms VGE, Giscard served as France’s head of state from 1974 through to 1981. Giscard lost the presidency to Socialist opponent Francois Mitterrand during the 1981 elections and then he took a brief hiatus from politics.  In 2003, he joined the Académie française by an election, replacing his friend Leopold Senghor, a former Senegalese president. At 92, Giscard holds the record of being the longest-living former French President. Giscard married Anne-Aymone Sauvage de Brantes, his cousin, in 1952 and they had four children together. His private life had always been under scrutiny with both national and international newspapers running stories about his affairs with different women.

Pope Benedict XVI, 91 Years Old

Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger, better known as Pope Benedict XVI, served as the head of the Vatican City and the Catholic Church from 2005 until 2013. He was elected by way of the 2005 papal conclave following the passing of Pope John Paul II. Pope Benedict XVI has penned 66 publications as well as three apostolic exhortations and three encyclicals. Ratzinger suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke in 1991, resulting in the temporary loss of his eyesight but he recovered completely without resorting to eye surgery. Upon his resignation in 2013, the Vatican finally revealed that Ratzinger had a pacemaker fitted before his 2005 election as Pope.

Hosni Mubarak, 90 Years Old

Former Egyptian head of state Hosni Mubarak led the country from 1981 to 2011. Before getting into politics, he was a commander in the Egyptian Air force during the '70s, eventually becoming an air chief marshal. During the '50s, he served as an instructor at the Air Force Academy. He became Egypt's President following the 1981 assassination of Anwar Sadat. Mubarak’s reign lasted for nearly 30 years and he’s still the country’s longest-serving ruler after Muhammad Ali Pasha. In 2016, his son Alaa Mubarak's name came up as having financial interests related to Mossack Fonseca, the law/financial advisory firm that was in the midst of the Panama Papers scandal.

Louis Farrakhan, 85 Years Old

Born Louis Eugene Walcott and better known as Louis X, Farrakhan is a minister and black nationalist leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI). He previously served as the Harlem and Boston minister of mosques as appointed by Elijah Muhammad, the former NOI leader. In 1995, he organized and led the Washington D.D. Million Man March with the aim of highlighting attention for minority and urban issues through voter registration campaigns. Farrakhan spent five weeks in a medical facility starting January 28, 2007, for abdominal surgery. The procedure corrected damage caused by the radioactive “seed” implantation cancer treatment he’d undergone years earlier.

Ian St John, 80 Years Old

Former footballer Ian St John previously played for Liverpool throughout the '60s and before that for Scotland for a total of 21 times. During his time with Liverpool, they won several championships and they were runners-up for more. Post playing, St John later became a pundit and the manager of his former clubs Portsmouth and Motherwell. As a pundit, he offered commentary for various TV stations and radio stations, including ITV’s World of Sport and European Championships. He also contributes to Radio City 96.7. In 2008, he became a Scottish Football Hall of Fame inductee. He underwent surgery to treat bladder cancer in April 2014.

Jimmy Greaves, 78 Years Old

James Peter Greaves played football professionally as a forward for England and ranks as the country’s fourth highest goalscorer internationally. Greaves is also an English Football Hall of Famer. He started out with Chelsea in 1957 and went on to also play for A.C. Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United, amongst other teams. Jimmy married Irene Barden in 1958 but they started their divorce process amidst Greaves battling with alcoholism. However, they reunited three months later and had four children together. Greaves suffered from a severe stroke in 2015 which has since permanently confined him to a wheelchair.

Ronnie Wood, 71 Years Old

Former The Rolling Stones member Ronald Wood has also served as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, radio personality, and author. Wood had his start in 1964 on guitar for the English rhythm and blues band, The Birds. He then moved over to the rock band The Creation and then the Jeff Beck Group. After Mick Taylor left The Rolling Stones, Wood replaced him in 1975, staying on with the band since that time. Wood has also recorded several solo albums, including Now Look released in 1975. In 2017, Wood had part of his lung removed after being diagnosed with carcinoma in his lung. However, Wood refused to go through chemo to avoid chemotherapy hair loss.

Murray Walker, 95 Years Old

Graeme Murray Walker is a British journalist by profession who served as a motocross commentator. He provided commentary on BBC TV for live Formula One events running from 1976 to 1996 and then for ITV from 1997 to 2001. Walker retired from commentary work following the 2001 United States Grand Prix and returned to part-time broadcasting in 2005. He still makes occasional appearances on Sky Sports F1, BBC, and Channel 4. In May 2013, Walker had a slip and fall mishap resulting in a pelvis injury. When getting treated for the injury, he was diagnosed with lymphatic system cancer, through June, he reported that he no longer needed chemotherapy.

Harry Belafonte, 91 Years Old

Singer-songwriter, actor, and activist Harry Belafonte is credited for popularizing the Caribbean musical style internationally. He released Calypso in 1956 and it ended up being his breakthrough album. He’s perhaps best known for The Banana Boat Song and his music cuts across several genres, including gospel, blues, show tunes, and folk. As an actor, he’s appeared in numerous films such as Island in the Sun and Carmen Jones. In the ‘50s and the ‘60s, Belafonte was amongst the early backers of the Civil Rights Movement. Belafonte earned an honorary doctorate degree from the Boston-based Berklee College of Music in 2014.

Desmond Tutu, 87 Years Old

Desmond Tutu is a retired South African theologian and cleric known for his human rights and anti-apartheid activism efforts. Tutu served as the Bishop of Johannesburg followed by the Archbishop of Cape Town from the mid-‘80s to the late ‘90s. He’s also the first indigenous African to have held those positions. For his activism efforts, Tutu has received numerous awards as well as the Nobel Peace Prize. He has also compiled his sermons and speeches into several publications. Tutu has been a lifelong fan of reading literature and he’s also a cricket fan. Tutu married Nomalizo Leah Shenxane in 1955 after they met while in college. They have four children together.

Johnny Clegg, 65 Years Old

Anthropologist Johnny Clegg has had a long and successful career as a recording artist along with his bands Davuka and Juluka. Clegg later on gained popularity as a solo act but he still regularly reunited with his former band members. Dubbed “Le Zoulou Blanc” or The White Zulu, Clegg has gained fame as an important figure in the South African music history and his songs fuse English and Zulu lyrics. Clegg’s son, Jesse, is also a musician but his style of music is worlds apart from that of his famous father. The younger Clegg is a rock musician and in 2008, he shot to popularity with his debut album, When I Wake Up.

Ginger Baker, 79 Years Old

English drummer Ginger Baker founded the rock band Cream and his compositions in the ‘60s earned him recognition as the first rock superstar drummer. Baker’s style fuses African rhythms with jazz backgrounds, and he’s credited for pioneering drumming in the world music, jazz fusion, and heavy metal genres. In June 2016, Baker divulged that he suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary heart disease brought about by years spent smoking heavily. He had open heart surgery that same year and Baker later suffered a fall causing swelling to his feet and legs.

Shane MacGowan, 61 Years Old

Best known for his exceptional lyrics, Shane Patrick Lysaght MacGowan is an English-born Irish vocalist and recording artist. He is the head and main songwriter of the punk band, The Pogues.  At 12, he had already recorded an array of songs. Shane has always been an eloquent person, and at 13, his exceptional mastery of the English language earned him a literary prize and scholarship to the Westminster School. On June 2, 2018, he received The Ivors Inspiration Award for his outstanding role in the music industry.  Sinead O’Connor ratted MacGowan to the police in 2001 for drug possession and she explained that she did it to discourage his use of heroin.

Larry King, 85 Years Old

Larry King has worked as an American television and radio host for several decades, and through his work, he’s received several awards, including two Peabodys and an Emmy award. Larry began his work in the early '50s and the '60s as a journalist and radio presenter. He later became a household name in the '70s due to his famous all-night nationwide call-in radio program -The Larry King Show. King has been famously married eight times, to seven different women. He currently lives in Beverly Hills, California, and his net worth is estimated to be at $150 million.

Little Richard, 86 Years Old

Richard Wayne Penniman aka Little Richard has been entertaining America since 1949 as a recording artist. Raised by devoted Christian parents, Richard acted in Christian shows before he moved to Atlanta in the ‘50s where he drew inspiration from Billy Wright and started recording songs. Penniman started singing gospel music but later on switched to secular music when on a tour to the United Kingdom. His life changed drastically when he spiraled down to substance dependence using marijuana, cocaine, and heroin.  However, he went against all odds and continued with the music career and switched back to evangelism in 1977. After undergoing hip surgery in 2013, he permanently retired from show business.

Clive James, 79 Years Old

Poet, translator, broadcaster, critic, and memoirist Clive James has worked and resided in the United Kingdom from 1962. He has published several poetry materials, including in 2003 The Book of My Enemy. As a TV critic, he began by making appearances on various shows as a guest commentator and eventually, he hosted ITV’s Clive James on Television. In 2014, James received the British Academy’s President’s Medal. In 2011, there were speculations that James needed a kidney transplant. He explained that he had B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia and emphysema. He penned down his struggles through the weekly column that ran on The Guardian titled Reports of My Death until June of 2017.

John McCririck, 78 Years Old

McCririck failed to join England’s diplomatic service and briefly worked at the Dorchester hotel as a waiter. He even, at some point, tried to become a bookmaker after working for one, but soon, he began his journalism career at The Sporting Life. When horse-racing coverage moved to Channel 4 from ITV, McCririck moved there too between ‘84 and ‘85. He also took up a role reporting from the betting ring during that time. He soon adopted a flamboyant persona dressing up in brightly-colored clothes, including matched suits, large hats, sideburns, and spotting huge cigars as an accessory. As of 2018, McCririck has been contributing to The Racing Paper as part of the editorial team.

Mikhail Gorbachev, 87 Years Old

Mikhail Gorbachev formerly served as the Soviet Union’s eighth and last leader after his reign as the Communist Party of the Soviet Union’s General Secretary. Gorbachev then led the country as its head of state beginning 1988 until 1991. During his presidency, he promoted peaceful international relations, and he played a key role in the negotiations with former U.S. President Reagan and had a hand in ending the Cold War. After his resignation in 1991, he started the Gorbachev foundation but he’s still active in political and social causes. In 2009, Gorbachev recorded a Russian ballad album titled Songs for Raisa to raise funds for charities in honor of his late wife.

Cleo Laine, 91 Years Old

Dame Cleo Laine is a renowned English actress and pop/jazz singer well-known for her impeccable vocal range. She’s naturally a contralto but she can also sing in the G and higher C ranges, giving her more than a three-octave range. Laine also boasts of being the only female performer to ever have received classical, jazz, and popular music Grammy nominations. Laine was married to extraordinaire jazz composer Sir John Dankworth who unfortunately passed on in February of 2010. Dankworth worked as an educator offering music lessons and he was also Laine’s music director.

Vanessa Redgrave, 81 Years Old

English political activist and actress Vanessa Redgrave earned herself an induction into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 2003. She rose to prominence through the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 1961 production, As You Like It. Redgrave is a six-time Oscar nominee and she's won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in the 1977 film Julia. She’s a part of the famous Redgrave family of actors, including her daughters Natasha Richardson and Joely Richardson, her son-in-law Liam Neeson, and niece Jemma Redgrave. Years of smoking cigarettes caused Redgrave to suffer from emphysema and in 2015, she revealed that her lungs were operating at only 30% of their capacity.

Nobby Stiles, 76 Years Old

Nobby Stiles formerly played football for England internationally, earning 28 cups throughout his career. Stiles also scored one goal while playing for team England and he also stayed on the field throughout the time that the country victoriously participated in the eighth FIFA World Cup in 1966. He also played for Manchester United for the majority of his career and spent eleven years at the Old Trafford. In 2013, Stiles revealed that he had prostate cancer followed by an announcement in 2016 that he was receiving round-the-clock assistance from a dementia caregiver, having reached an advanced stage of the disease.

Jacques Chirac, 86 Years Old

Jacques Chirac is a former French politician who served as the Mayor of Paris, Prime Minister, and finally the country’s head of state during his career. Chirac earned a degree from the Sciences Po and he also attended the Ecole Nationale d'administration and the Harvard University. He then began his career working as a civil servant before entering politics shortly after. Chirac held several senior offices under the French government, including Minister of the Interior and Minister of Agriculture. Since leaving the office in 2007, he has been implicated severally in corruption cases. Chirac received a suspended sentence in December 2011 after a court found him guilty of diverting public funds.

Alan Greenspan, 92 Years Old

American economist Alan Greenspan served as the U.S. Federal Reserve chairman for 19 years until 2006. At 92, he’s not about to settle in a retirement home and instead, he still regularly works as a private adviser through Greenspan Associates LLC. He’s a recipient of the 2005 Presidential Medal of Freedom and the 2002 rank of Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Greenspan got married twice; first, to Canadian artist Joan Mitchell (they had an annulment) and then to journalist Andrea Mitchell. In the ‘70s, he also dated journalist/TV personality, Barbara Walters.

Bob Hawke, 89 Years Old

Bob Hawke holds the accolade of being the longest-serving Australian Labor Party Prime Minister. Hawke, a former Aussie politician, served as the country’s 23rd Prime Minister as well as the Labor Party leader from ‘83 through to ‘91. Hawke achieved immense financial success following his tenure in parliament by taking up numerous consultancy and directorship positions in the business world. As a public figure, Hawke’s cheating scandals were highly publicized and he ended up leaving his first wife Hazel Masterson for biographer Blanche d’Alpuget. He fell ill in late 2018, saying that he might not be able to witness the Labor Party’s victory during the 2019 elections.

Gordon Banks, 81 Years Old

Gordon Banks served England as an international goalkeeper, earning a total of 73 cups during his 15-year career. His club career included playing for Chesterfield, Leicester City, Stoke City, and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Banks is the uncle to drummer Nick Banks who plays for the English rock band, Pulp. In May 2006, he became the first legend inducted into the Sheffield Walk of Fame and in 2011, he also became a City of Stoke-on-Trent Hall of Famer. In December 2015, Banks made an announcement that he suffered from kidney cancer and he was undergoing medical treatment.

Joe Pesci - 75 Years Old

American comedian, singer, and actor Joe Pesci is recognized for delivering stellar performances when portraying volatile characters across a range of genres. He is famous for playing the part of Vincent Gambini in the 1992 film titled My Cousin Vinny. He also acted in the movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York as Harry Lime and in Lethal Weapon as Leo Getz. In 1999, Pesci went into retirement, leaving acting in pursuit of music. However, he still made a few movie appearances. He will be appearing in the upcoming movie, The Irishman, in 2019.  He is already 75 and still in good health!FF
