The NCIS series began airing in 2003. However, it never seems to get old, as solving crimes along with actor Mark Harmon's character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, and the rest of the crew never presents anxiety. If you're looking for a little variety, the various spin-offs of the show should give plenty of that.
A number of actors have helped to make the NCIS franchise what it is today, and some even made a love connection on the show. But if you'd love to turn the pages of their lives to take a peek into who these actors' real-life partners are, we have that for you right here.
Catherine Bell (Sarah MacKenzie) & Brooke Daniels
The girl who used to portray the character of Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie is now 51 years old. Named Catherine Bell, the actress gained fame for her role in the JAG series and later played some other significant parts in Army Wives and The Good Witch series.
Peeking into her personal life, Bell was married to Adam Beason for 17 years. They had two children together before their divorce in 2011. Currently, however, Bell is living-together with her partner of eight years, Brooke Daniells, a photographer and party planner. Maybe we'll hear wedding bells soon!
Michael Weatherly (Anthony DiNozzo) & Bojana Janković
Anthony DiNozzo gave his own zest to NCIS. The character left the team after 13 years to be a father to a child he didn't previously know he had. When he left the show in 2016, Michael Weatherly, the actor who played that part, started playing the lead role in the TV show, Bull.
In Michael's actual situation, his first marriage to actress Amelia Heinle ended in a divorce. After his TV show, The City got canceled, he and his family struggled. He took odd jobs, which meant little time with his family. Now, he's married to screenwriter Bojana Janković and puts his family first.
Sasha Alexander (Caitlin Todd) & Edoardo Ponti
Pretty actress Sasha Alexander, as we know, had a starring role on TV's Rizzoli Isles as Maura Isles from July 2010 until September 2016. During her stint as a cast member of NCIS, she picked up a number of fans. She's the wife of Edoardo Ponti, whose famous mother is Hollywood icon, Sophia Loren.
Sasha and Edoardo have been married since 2007, and their romance is going strong just the same. The duo shares two wonderful kids together. Alexander frequently uploads photos of the wonderful times she has shared with her spouse on Facebook and Instagram. The Serbian-American Sasha has expressed her happiness being in her husband's arms.
David McCallum (Dr. Donald Mallard) & Katherine Carpenter
Actor David McCallum confirmed his return to NCIS for season 16 via a post on Facebook. In it, he acknowledged he'd appear less often on the show and thus be able to spend more time with his wife Katherine, his children, their six grandkids, and their cat Nickie. David and Katherine have been married since 1967.
He was previously married to actress Jill Ireland when he was still a young actor. But she and actor Charles Bronson became an item instead. Fame doesn't keep you from life's drama, apparently. Just like in NCIS, they dealt with their issues and kept going. McCallum launched his book, Once a Crooked Man, in 2016.
Sean Murray (Timothy McGee) & Carrie James
[the_ad id="40214"]
The NCIS team just wouldn't be the same without the unique addition of Special Agent Timothy McGee. This NCIS that we're referring to, as every lover of television forensic shows knows, is the American drama that has the actor Sean Harland Murray starring as McGee. The character even appeared in NCIS: New Orleans in 2017.
Sean has been married to Carrie James since November 2005. They didn't wait long before they started having babies and now have two kids together. They first welcomed a baby girl in 2007 named Caitlyn Melissa followed by a boy born in 2010 named River.
Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer) & Kelly Dietzen
[the_ad id="40214"]
Playing the supporting part of Dr. Jimmy Palmer on NCIS is forty-one-year-old actor Brian Dietzen. He started playing the role from the episode titled Split Decision in 2004 and was elevated to becoming a regular face during each season from the 10th season onwards. With this change in 2012, his name then appeared in the credits.
Dietzen is doing fairly well and now has a net worth of $2M. The last movie he was in was a short film in 2015 called One-Minute Time Machine. He's enjoying life in Los Angeles with Kelly Dietzen, his spouse, as well as their two children.
Rocky Carroll (Leon Vance) & Gabrielle Bullock
[the_ad id="40214"]
Actor Rocky Carroll was also included in the cast of NCIS. He was roped in to play Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Assistant Director Leon Vance during the show's fifth season. Carroll's character, Leon, became the NCIS Director when the character who previously held that position, Jenny Shepard, died.
Apart from his role on the show, he was also credited for directing 7 episodes of the series. Rocky also did work with other productions while on NCIS like voicing Perry White in the 2019 film Reign of the Supermen. Rocky has been married to architect Gabrielle Bullock since 1996. Together, they share a daughter named Elissa.
Emily Wickersham (Ellie Bishop) & Blake Hanley
[the_ad id="40214"]
When Cote de Pablo left in 2013, the beautiful Emily Wickersham signed on to appear on NCIS for originally three episodes as NSA Analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop. But she eventually became a regular cast member of the show. She also played the same character in NCIS: New Orleans in 2016 and was cast in the movie Gone.
Back in 2010, she wed Blake Anderson Hanley, an American musician, in a ceremony that was held in Little Palm Island, Florida Keys. It was reported that the wedding was officiated by Hanley's brother and had 150 guests. But, unfortunately, the two got a divorce in 2018.
Lauren Holly (Jenny Shepard) & Francis Greco
[the_ad id="40214"]
Teaming up again with actors Rocky Carroll and Mark Harmon, whom she acted with on the TV show Chicago Hope, Lauren Holly played the part of Jenny Shepard, the director of NCIS. Outside of Hollywood, Holly now calls Ontario, Canada, her home. She has been married three times. Her marriage to investment banker Francis Greco ended in divorce in 2014 after thirteen years of being husband and wife. They share three sons together—George, Alexander Holly-Greco, and Henry.
Wilmer Valderrama (Nick Torres) & Demi Lovato
[the_ad id="40214"]
We all loved him when he played Fez on That '70s Show from 1998 to 2006. Wilmer Valderrama then made NCIS a bit more interesting when he joined the show during its fourteenth season in 2016. Now, he's featured on a regular basis as special agent Nick Torres.
Another recent project of his was voicing Prince Charming in the 2018 animated movie, Charming. Wilmer may not be married yet, but he has no anxiety because he has dated a few lovely ladies. The last serious relationship he had was with singer-actress Demi Lovato, whom he dated from 2010 to 2016.
Joe Spano (T.C. Fornell) & Joan Zerrien
[the_ad id="40214"]
With his career in television, actor Joe Spano is now worth $2M in 2019. He has made recurring appearances on NCIS as Tobias Fornell, a special agent with the FBI, since season one. After years of being an FBI agent, his character became a PI in the show's 15th season.
Spano's character has been an obstruction for Gibbs in the series. They call each other by their first names and have the same amount of screen time in some shows. In real life, Spano is the proud dad of two daughters whom he adopted with his therapist wife, Joan Zerrien.
Maria Bello (Jack Sloane) & Dominique Crenn
Actress Maria Bello, who plays Jack Sloane in the long-running procedural show NCIS since 2017, and partner Dominique Crenn got engaged in Paris in 2019. They announced the good news in early 2020 while they were heading to Elton John's Oscar party. From the start of their relationship, the couple's first test came when the chef was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Crenn warned her girlfriend about how the illness could affect them, but Bello was sure that she'd stay with her. The chef, whose restaurant earned three Michelin stars, is also supportive of the actress's decision to leave NCIS in season 18.
Jennifer Esposito (Alex Quinn) & Louis Dowler
[the_ad id="40214"]
Actress Jennifer Esposito started playing the part of Alexandra Quinn aka Alex on NCIS in 2016. She was a special agent who had switched from field work to teaching at the training center on law enforcement. Gibbs convinced her to return and become part of his team.
Esposito didn't stay on the show for very long as she left just a year later. She has been married twice. The first time was in 2006 to actor Bradley Cooper whom she divorced in 2007 after 5 months of marriage. The second time was in 2014 to British model Louis Dowler. She then filed for divorce in 2016.
Alan Dale (N.C.I.S. Director Tom Morrow) & Tracey Pearson
[the_ad id="40214"]
Through the years, we've seen Alan Dale acting in various shows on TV. One of his most memorable roles is Tom Morrow, which he played on NCIS and JAG (the show from which NCIS was born). Kent Shocknek (Guy Ross) & Karen Walters
[the_ad id="40214"]
Kent Shocknek has been earning paychecks as a newsman on TV before he went into acting. So, when he got to play a newsman in NCIS, it was no surprise that he was natural due to his years of experience in that job.
Shocknek began portraying the character Guy Ross in NCIS from 2004 until he left the show in 2018. He also reprised his role in the spin-off show, NCIS: Los Angeles, from 2013 to 2015. Very little is known about Kent's wife, Karen Walters, as she is a very private person.

One of Darby's most recent movies is Stargirl, which is presently in post-production and is set to be released in 2020.

[the_ad id="40214"]
Appearing as probationary agent Ned Dorneget, actor Matt Jones added his own flair to NCIS from 2011 to 2015. He was also a part of NCIS: Los Angeles in 2010. He recently landed a supporting role in the upcoming TV show Bob ♡ Abishola as Douglas.
Jones is married to Kelly Daly, an actress popular for the movies Love Seat and Crying Man. The happy couple share one son together named Jasper. If Jasper chooses to attend university to study for a degree, he won't have to worry about the money to do so with such successful parents.
Rena Sofer (Margaret Allison Hart) & Sanford Bookstaver
[the_ad id="40214"]
A possible romantic encounter for actor Mark Harmon's character, Gibbs, was introduced in NCIS via actress Rena Sofer's character, lawyer Margaret Allison Hart. Rena also had a guest appearance as a romantic alliance for David Boreanaz's role, Seeley Booth, on the popular TV series Bones.
In 2003, Rena tied the knot with TV producer/director Sanford Bookstaver. Two years later, they welcomed a child together—the second child for Rena and first for Sanford. Melinda McGraw (Diane Sterling) & Steve Pierson
[the_ad id="40214"]
During the ninth season of NCIS, which ran from 2011 to 2012, actress Melinda McGraw titillated us as Diane Sterling, the ex-wife of Tobias Fornell and of Gibbs as well. We saw her in the episodes Devil's Triad, Devil's Trifecta, and Devil's Triangle. However, she exited the show during the twelfth season when her character was killed off. In 2018, she played Gina Powell in NCIS: New Orleans.
McGraw's beloved hubby is Steve Pierson, a recording artist, and composer. The couple shares a daughter named Lucy. As sort of a family bonding, they are all part of Jambo, Pierson's group that entertains with tunes for kids of the roots genre.

[the_ad id="40214"]
Another possible romantic dalliance for Agent Gibbs came in the form of Dr. Samantha Ryan, played by actress Jamie Lee Curtis. She appeared in five episodes of the show in 2012. When she was told that the part might recur, she said in an interview that she'd be happy to do it.
Jamie, who will be starring in the 2019 film Knives Out, has been married to actor Christopher Guest since 1984. With careers like theirs, they probably have a huge joint account nowadays. Curtis was smitten by Guest when she saw his photo in Rolling Stone. The duo adopted two kids—Thomas who was born in 1996 and Annie who was born in 1986.
Jamie Bamber (SA Attorney Jake Malloy) & Kerry Norton
[the_ad id="40214"]
Since Jamie only made guest appearances on the television show NCIS, some people might not remember his character Jake Malloy, the NSA lawyer. His character visited NCIS to deal with certain cases. We have also watched him play the character Tom Bronson on the movie Crystal Inferno, which was released in 2017.
Jamie is the hubby of the singer/actress Kerry Norton. You might remember her for playing Doc Cottle's assistant, Ishay, in the movie Battlestar Galactica. Jamie and Kerry are parents to three beautiful daughters—Isla and identical twins Ava and Darcy.

From 2003 to 2015, he was also one of the actors on NCIS. He played special agent Stan Burley. He also appeared in the 2018 television movie, A Father's Nightmare, as Matt Carmichael.
We hope he's not his father-in-law's nightmare, though. Joe's wife is actress Melanie Shatner, who is the daughter of Star Trek star, William Shatner. On TV, Melanie has been seen as Leslie in the '90s series, Madison. Joel and Melanie have been married since '99.

The former began as an episode of the latter in 2014 and was aired in two parts. Outside of NCIS, Bakula had time to star in the 2017 movie Basmati Blues playing the character Eric.
Scott gave Chelsea Field an engagement ring and made her his wife in 2009. They now have two children—Owen Barrett and Wil Botfield. Bakula ensures that he gets home to LA every weekend to be with his family while filming NCIS: New Orleans.
Lucas Black (Christopher LaSalle) & Maggie O'Brien
[the_ad id="40214"]
Actor Lucas Black copped the part of Special Agent LaSalle on NCIS: New Orleans in 2014 and still plays the role in 2019. This character is a serious fellow who both plays and works hard. Black considered returning to his Sean Boswell role for the movie The Fate of the Furious.
Doing that movie would have meant driving more luxury cars under The Fast and the Furious franchise, but his schedule for the role he plays in NCIS made it impossible. Black, who has a net worth of $6M in 2019, is married to the attorney Maggie O'Brien since 2010. They have a trio of kids.
Linda Hunt (Hetty Lange) & Karen Kline
[the_ad id="40214"]
Linda Hunt, with her iconic and unique persona, has been praised and loved especially since she started playing on NCIS: Los Angeles. However, she started acting way back in 1980 in the movie, Popeye. Linda has even won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the movie The Year of Living Dangerously. She became the first actress to have won an Oscar for portraying the opposite gender.
Linda has been married to her long-time partner Karen Kline, a psychotherapist, since 2008 but they have been together since 1978. She was also been diagnosed, when she was a child, with Turner Syndrome, a condition where she's missing an X chromosome.
Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) & Francis "Coyote" Shivers
[the_ad id="40214"]
At the end of NCIS's 15th year of being on air, we said goodbye to the much-loved actress Pauley Perrette who played the tattoo-sporting forensic specialist, Abby. Perrette said she was moved to tears when she quit the show, but she felt she needed a break.
She also had her own personal drama pertaining to her ex-husband Francis Shivers aka Coyote, a musician, and actor. Their marriage ended in 2004 in a conspicuous manner. After which, the circumstances required Perrette to take out a restraining order against Shivers. She started playing the role of Jackie in television's Broke in 2019.
Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) & Pam Dawber
[the_ad id="40214"]
Since 2003, actor Mark Harmon has played the role of SSA Leroy Jethro Gibbs on TV's NCIS. Starting in 2014 and going through until 2018, he played that part on NCIS: New Orleans. The character is a bachelor who had a number of affairs and has been in four unsuccessful marriages.
In reality, Mark has been married to only one woman, actress Pam Dawber, with whom he has two sons, Ty and Sean. You'll remember her from the sitcom Mork and Mindy. Pam and Mark have been married for 31 years. He has been very private about his family life and isn't even on social media.
Cote de Pablo (Ziva David) & Diego Serrano
[the_ad id="40214"]
In NCIS, the TV series that explains police procedure, team agent Ziva David, who used to be an officer of the Mossad in Israel, was portrayed by actress Cote de Pablo. Cote received an Imagen Award in 2006 for the role. However, an announcement from CBS that she was leaving came in 2013.
Ziva's storyline sadly ended in season 11. Now, in 2019, she is making money from producing a TV show called MIA. We're not sure if Cote has a significant other, but we know she's not married. She previously dated Diego Serrano, but their long-term relationship reportedly ended in June 2015.
