It's not uncommon for Hollywood actors to experiment with cross-dressing, as they often get a chance to show us what they'd look like if they had been the opposite gender.
Surprisingly, some of them end up looking absolutely incredible and make us wonder how come they didn't get to do it more often. One such case is the late actor Patrick Swayze, whose drag-role performance had been brilliant but went under the radar mostly unnoticed.
We always knew Swayze was a heartthrob, but one look at him dressed as a woman is enough to realize this talented actor and dancer had more to him than what we usually saw on the screens:
Swayze, along with John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes, put on their wigs in 1995 to star in the movie To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar as the drag queens Vida Boheme, Chi-Chi Rodriguez, and Noxeema Jackson.
The movie is about three queens who go on a road trip. It was shot in New York and featured many of NYC’s famous drag queens at that time like Emmy award winner RuPaul, celebrity transgender woman Candis Cayne, and famous drag queen Lady Bunny, among many others. Overall, the film received good reviews and is fondly remembered within the LGBT community.
